using improv to improve your business.

Improvisation isn’t just the business of being funny.

GoCo for Business is our business-to-business division, can conduct improv workshops and provide in-depth organizational consulting.

Personal growth. Do some of your team members hold themselves back? Developed and taught by Cara Trautman, the “Get Out of Your Own Head” workshop will teach your group how to quiet the mind, combat stress, and prepare to perform.

Team building. Need help working as a team? Let us train your group to function as a well oiled machine. We use improv games to teach people how to be impactful team members, and cooperate and create together.

Listening and communicating. We’ll lead your group through fun exercises designed to improve their listening skills. Your group will learn how to say “yes, and...” when communicating with others and you’ll watch your group morale improve and productivity soar.

OUR philosophy

the three i’s

Go Comedy! Improv Theatre is based on three principles: integrity, inspiration and innovation. We execute these principles for the benefit of the audience, the community, and ourselves. From our improv classes to our resident cast, the three I’s are at the forefront of our creative mission.

Improv for all

We are a diverse group of performers, writers, and lovers of improv and comedy. We strive to provide thoughtful, funny, and enjoyable entertainment to our audience and support our community.

We had a great time with the Go Comedy team. They lead the group in some very fun and insightful activities, I have used Go Comedy twice now and they have not disappointed. It is always beneficial when you have fun and learn at the same time.
— Ron Peyton, MAHLE Industries, Incorporated Organizational Development (HND)
... We recently worked with GoComedy! as part of a large corporate event. Here, we were re-introduced to awareness and observation and their impact to a given experience. The event was surprisingly eye-opening, extremely fun, and a unique way for people to expand their comfort zones in a safe environment. The exercises also build camaraderie in a way that we won’t soon forget ...
— Anonymous big schmancy company in Metro-Detroit (seriously)
“The coaching is professional, authentic, and just the thing to push team members out of their comfort zones and into taking risks, Trusting their team members, and accepting challenges with nothing more than faith in themselves and their team members to go on. By the end of the day my team was accomplishing tasks none of them would have considered possible that morning. Refreshing, fun, rewarding, and energizing - it’s not training so much as a megadose of creative power for your mind.”
— Nathan Hughes, Co-Founder Detroit Labs
